About Us

At Soak Wash Inc., our product Soak is designed to be the modern care solution for your favourite cashmere sweater, lingerie and other fine fibers. Positioned alongside the delicate items Soak is designed to wash, Soak’s strategy breaks all convention as it climbs to the top of the detergent category.

Soak is a company inspired by Jacq’s Hats, an award-winning knit accessories company. We got started when we developed Soak, a product that gave Jacq’s Hats’ customers a great new way to take care of their wool hats, scarves and sweaters.

Launched in Canada in 2005, Soak enjoyed immediate success with everyone from knitters to quilters to fashion-conscious clothing shoppers.

Over the next couple of years, we grew in the knitting and quilting markets in the United States and around the world.

In 2007 we launched into the apparel and lingerie markets.

Now, Soak can be found in Boutiques and Department Stores (intimate apparel sections) in North America, the UK, Japan and beyond.

Our manufacturing is top-notch. We supply all sizes of retail stores, including some of the world’s most prestigious boutiques.

Jacqueline Sava, BFA, MBA, President & Founder, Soak Wash Inc.
Since creating her first business plan as a high school project, Jacqueline Sava has had a passion for entrepreneurship and business. Her studies took her to Rhode Island School of Design, where she completed her BFA in Industrial Design. She then went to Paris, France expanding both her design education and cultural knowledge. Rounding out her education, Sava holds an MBA in Strategic Management and Marketing at Schulich School of Business, York University.

Sava has pursued many entrepreneurial ventures from product development consulting (for which she holds Canadian and US patents) to designing knit accessories. Her designs have earned her national awards as well as international accolade.
